For businesses interested in “going green,” the Community College of Beaver County, Congressman Jason Altmire, Robert Kimball & Associates, and Sustainable Pittsburgh will host a conference, “The Road to Sustainability,” on Tuesday October 13 from 8:30-3:00.
Topics include Sustainable Development, Green Building and LEED, Energy Auditing, Grant Writing, and Stormwater Management. There will also be panel discussions and talks by experts on sustainable business.
The cost is $35 to attend and includes breakfast and lunch. The conference will be held on the campus of the Community College of Beaver County.
